Creamy Shrimp Fettuccine

My husband loves this recipe. I haven’t made it in a while. You can prepare it with shrimp or chicken. I prefer chicken, but shrimp is what I had on hand tonight. It is a simple quick meal that is easily prepared. You can adjust the thickness by add more milk. I usually have to add at least another full cup to get the consistancy that I prefer. The addition of poppy seeds is the secret to this recipe. NO BULL you will love it, don’t omit!

1/2 Cup butter
4 TBS. flour
2 Cups of milk
4 tsp. Parsley flakes
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. poppy seeds
1/2 tsp salt

Cook pasta set aside.
Saute shrimp ( or chicken) in a little butter season as desired and set aside.
Melt butter add flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add milk stir over med heat until thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients.
