I found this recipe and thought I would give it a try this evening.I know the photo doesn’t look very good…it’s hard to take photos of white food! Trust me is is much better than it looks. I love artichokes, and I love white beans the combination is good. I added a little more crushed red pepper…of course I like things a little spicy. I thought it would be an appetizer, it ended up being our dinner we ate so much! No BULL it is a delicious simple somewhat healthy dip. I served it with warm bread Tomato Basil Focaccia bread by Archer Farms! You can purchase this at Target. I have never tried it before, I will be buying it again! It was delicious. White Bean and Artichoke Dip
2 cloves garlic
2 (15 ounce) cans white beans (drained and rinsed)
1 (15 ounce) can artichoke hearts (drained)
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
Salt and pepper, to taste
1. In the bowl of a food processor, add the garlic, white beans, artichoke hearts, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and rosemary. Blend until smooth.
2. Season with salt and pepper and stir. Serve with bread, crackers, vegetables, or chips.
