CHIP BEEF ON TOAST
This is another recipe I can’t believe I’m posting. Again I’m doing this for my children. Ryan and Eliot were here during the Super Bowl and they started talking about one of their favorite things I make for breakfast. Chip Beef On Toast! Who knew! I was surprised to know that they loved this dish. Ryan has been (training) his girlfriend to cook some of his favorites that I prepare, so I thought I would post this for Casey! ( Love you Casey)!
1 pkg of Budding Beef you can find it in the lunch meat department. ( not the kind in a jar)
1/3 c of vegetable oil
1/3 plus 2 TBSP. of flour
4 1/2 cups of milk
Chop the beef and separate the pieces as much as possible before adding to skillet. Heat oil in a skillet until hot. Add beef and stir constantly until beef turns crispy, be careful not to burn. Add flour and continue cooking for about 4 minutes to cook the flour taste off. Pour in milk and stir, stir stir. Continue cooking and stirring until thickened. You can add more milk if needed.
Season with plenty of cracked pepper, and server over toast.
